November Meeting Schedule

 

The Inaugural Meeting of the 2022-2026 Council will be held on November 15, 2022.  The regular meeting of November 21, 2022 of Council has been cancelled. 

Council members Lillion Abbot and Jeff Elliot were recognized for their years of service to the Township with a token of appreciation.

Business Arising from the Closed Session

 

The Deputy Mayor reported that a closed meeting had been held for the purpose of considering a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board (Ripley Industrial Park) pursuant to Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended.  The Chief Administrative Officer advised Council of use of the authority delegated to the CAO through By-law 2022-06 to authorize an offer to purchase land at the Industrial Park.  Staff will provide a report to Council in open session when the offer to purchase has been finalized.
