    AND FURTHER authorizes the Director of Community Services to contract the services of TMHC Inc. for $9,080.00 for a stage one-two assessment at the Ripley Cemetery entrance.

    AND FURTHER approves the development of concept 3 and the tender packages for the Ripley Medical Centre;

    AND FURTHER authorizes Staff to apply to the Near Term Investment Program for renovations/addition to the Ripley Medical Center.

    THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information Report CAO-2023-10-34, prepared by Mike Bartlett, Administrative Coordinator.

  • Motion

    THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information Report CLK-2023-09-53 prepared by Kelly Lush, Deputy Clerk;

    AND FURTHER approves entering into an amending agreement with The Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services for the provision of Police Services under Section 10 of the Police Services Act per the report;

    AND FURTHER authorizes the appropriate by-law coming forward.

  • Motion

    THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby supports the Towns of Grimsby in asking Ontario municipalities to collect data of their housing and poverty statistics and examine their pending economic vulnerability;

    AND FURTHER, to advocate to the Prime Minister, Premier and local politicians calling for a united effort in establishing a Guaranteed Livable Income program;

    AND FURTHER directs staff to distribute as they see fit.

  • Motion

    THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole receive for information Report CLK-2023-10 – 59, prepared by Jennifer White, Manager of Legislative Services/Clerk;

    AND FURTHER authorizes Staff to put forward for selection as a representative of the Saugeen, Grey Sauble, Northern Bruce Peninsula Source Protection Region, the names of interested members of Council who provide the required information by the deadline.

  • Motion

    THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives Report CLK-2023-10-60, prepared by Jennifer White, Manager of Legislative Services/Clerk;

    AND FURTHER THAT Committee of the Whole agree to enter into an agreement with Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority for provision of Category Three Services as presented;

    AND FURTHER authorizes the appropriate by-law to be brought forward.

    THAT Committee of the Whole move into closed meeting at [time] for the purpose of considering personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees (personnel), and litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals affecting the municipality or local board (zoning infraction), pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended;

    AND FURTHER THAT Committee of the Whole return to regular open meeting upon completion.
